With yours and the Transport for NSW so-called solution these students will now have to cross a busy intersection near the cenotaph on Pittwater Rd to get back to Waratah St to be picked up by their parents. So one safety issue is supposedly resolved and another worse one created. Watch the attached video towards the end and see that a girl walks against the lights at his intersection (at 1.55 and listen for a horn being blown). You will also see on the video that 2 buses pull up at the current Waratah St bus stop and that school children disperse quite safely and without problems. It has been suggested to you that the bus stop be moved further south and way from Waratah St to resolve any safety concerns but neither you or Transport for NSW did not take this option on board. Watch the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmJRuSsb30I&feature=youtu.be You are not being truthful when saying that safety concerns about the Waratah St bus stop is the reason for creating the Village Park bus stop. As I have said in my previous email, please explain why the Greater Sydney Commission, Sydney North district Draft Report carries the following statement about objectives for Mona Vale. What exactly does leveraging a bus stop mean? This appears to be a poor use of words. Maybe it has been borrowed from Pittwater Council’s Mona Vale Place Plan and reworded.
